Child Enterprises has many highly trained masons and laborers in new construction brick, block, stone, and terra cotta work. 

Child Enterprises is also certified and trained with the use of many specialty restoration products and techniques.

Bachelor of Science, Construction Management, Brigham Young University 1973, U.S. Army Engineering Corp.(1966-1968).  Over 45 years of experience in the masonry field.  Rick takes a hands-on approach to managing his company and is involved with his field personnel and lends his experience to projects.

Mike Child, Project Manager

Michael R. Child, Project Manager

Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Utah State University 1995.  Over 18 years of experience in the masonry field.  Mike has been the project manager for the majority of Child Enterprises major project over the past 10 years.  He has supervised and worked on a number of restoration and new projects.  Mike is also trained and certified in the use of many restoration products and procedures.

Craig Child, Project Manager; Foreman Craig Child, Project Manager; Foreman
Bachelor of Arts, Art History, Utah State University 1999.  13 years of experience in the masonry field and training and certification in the use of restoration products and procedures.  Projects supervised by Craig Child: Bountiful 11, 45, & 55 Wards Remodel, North School Renovation, Hotel Park City, and the Braithwaite Building, SUU Campus.  He was also involved with work on the Salt Lake City Temple, the Historic Assembly Hall, the Provo Academy Building, and the Teton Club, Jackson WY.  Currently, Craig is assisting as a project manager for various projects including, the Utah State Capitol Building, the Logan Temple, and the historic Zion’s Bank, downtown SLC.
Chad Robertson, Foreman Chad Robertson, Foreman
11 years of experience in the masonry field; Projects supervised by Chad Robertson: Stone walls at Olympic Ski Park, Soldier Hollow; Installation of exterior stairs at the Conference Center, the Provo Academy Building, the Four Seasons, Jackson WY, the Shooting Star Condominiums, Deer Valley, Girl’s Town, West Jordan, the Waterford School Addition, Sandy, and the Warnock Engineering Building, U of U Campus.  He also worked on the Logan Temple, Historic Assembly Hall, and University Wards Chapel.  Chad is currently supervising the Arrowleaf Lodge (Building A), Deer Valley.
David King, Foreman David King, Foreman
15 years of experience in the masonry field; Dave has worked on many projects including – the Four Seasons, Jackson, WY; the Logan Temple, the Historic Assembly Hall, the Provo Academy Building, and the University Wards Chapel, etc.  He has supervised work at the Historic Tabernacle Building on Temple Square, The Zion’s Bank Tower, the Crystal Heights Church and Brighton Church renovations, and the West Valley City Fleet Management Building. Dave is currently overseeing CMU work at the Utah State Capitol building.
Jeff King, Foreman Jeff King, Foreman
11 years of experience in the masonry field; Projects supervised by Jeff King: Sandy Parks Phase 4, Clear Springs Building, Orem, and Precast Bench work at Temple Square.  Other projects Jeff has been involved with are the Four Seasons, Jackson WY, the Braithwaite Building SUU Campus, the Logan Temple, and the Provo Academy Building.  Jeff is currently supervising the granite and terra cotta restoration work at the Utah State Capitol Building.
Steven Child, Foreman Steven Child , Foreman

Bachelor of Science, Construction Management, Utah Valley State College 2006 – 8 years of experience in the masonry field.  Projects supervised by Steve Child: Jordan Landing Storage Units, stone work at Scenic View, Provo, the renovation of the Historic Beehive Wall, SLC, and the LDS Data Center renovation.  Steve is currently supervising work at the Historic Zion’s Bank in downtown SLC.
